What changes in the first term
Not a feature list. These are the three conversations that get easier once the school is running on AiLycée.
Expected against collected for the year, an aging table by family, and a numbered PDF receipt for every payment in cash, cheque, Whish or transfer. The arrears conversation stops being a guess.
Attendance in a few taps on a phone with no signal, grades entered offline and synced later, and at term end a drafted comment per student that the teacher edits and approves.
Grades, absences, homework, the tuition balance and the receipt live on the parent's phone in the parent's own language — plus one warm summary every Friday.

The AI layer
At term end AiLycée drafts a two-to-four sentence comment per student from that student's own grades, trends and attendance — in the school's report language. The teacher reads, edits and approves each one. Nothing reaches a bulletin without that click.

What a parent actually sees
Parents are the reason schools stop churning. They get the week in their own language — Arabic, French or English — independently of the language the school teaches in, and it reads on a phone with no signal because the last update is stored on the device.
Built for the conditions, not despite them
Teacher and parent apps hold their data on the device and sync when the line returns. Conflicts are logged and the newer value kept, never silently overwritten.
Amounts are stored as USD cents with an LBP display rate your school sets. Payments are recorded, not processed — receipts are the deliverable.
Absence alerts, digests and receipts go out as WhatsApp templates with SMS fallback and push for app users. Teachers never hand out a personal number.
